Definitions for types of services:

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)  is a structured treatment program designed to provide more intensive therapy and support than traditional outpatient therapy but without the need for full-time residential care. The treatment sessions are typically 

 

Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a type of program that offers a high level of medical and therapeutic care for mental health and substance abuse disorders, functioning as a bridge between inpatient treatment and outpatient care. Patients typically attend the program during the day for multiple hours, several days a week, but do not stay overnight.

Residential substance use treatment refers to a structured program where individuals live onsite while receiving intensive therapy and support for addiction issues. It provides a highly supportive and immersive environment, typically lasting for a few weeks to several months, aimed at helping individuals achieve and maintain sobriety.

Sober living refers to a structured and supportive living environment for individuals recovering from addiction. It offers a substance-free place to reside, often with peer support and accountability, to help individuals maintain sobriety and transition back to independent living.

Steppingstones to Recovery offers an Intensive Outpatient Program for adult males and females with substance use disorders. Steppingstones is in network with most insurance carriers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, United Healthcare, UMR, Value Options, Magellan, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield Pathway X Network, Amerigroup, Wellcare, Aetna, Ambetter, and First Health.  If you do not see your insurance listed, give our office a call!

4th Dimension Living’s Program provides a safe & structured transitional living space for men who are attempting to recover from drug and alcohol use in the Augusta Georgia area. The Hale House Foundation Inc. is a transitional program to assist men over the age of 18 with substance abuse problems to recover in a safe recovery residence setting until they are ready to assume responsibility by readjusting to society and resume independent living. More than 2,500 men have recovered from addiction within the halls of the Hale House.​

Valor Station-Augusta is a Mental Health Treatment Facility exclusively for First Responders. It provides First Responders with a safe environment to receive treatment in a specialized program that traditional facilities do not and cannot offer. The mission of Valor Station-Augusta is to apply a holistic approach through an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) by providing all active public safety personnel suffering from mental health conditions and substance abuse, a private, secure setting to heal and resume their respective careers, healthier and more productive.
